Four answers and nobody visits to work it out. The first visit costs more because it genuinely takes longer, so you get that number here rather than on the day. Every visit after it is the same in month twelve as in month one.

Northern New Jersey, illustrative and not yet Sable's published rates — the table has to pick one city, and prices differ by city rather than by country. New York runs higher; use the calculator for yours. The first visit is priced higher across the whole industry, typically at 1.5 to 2 times the recurring rate, because bringing a place to a baseline takes longer than holding it there.

Most services quote one visit and then bill you a little more each time you ask for something. We would rather you chose the depth once and stopped thinking about it.

Quoted after a visit
You can move between them, and the price moves with you at the rate above. There is no contract to break and no fee for changing your mind — the only thing we ask is enough notice to tell the person whose week it changes.

Plenty of people do, and it works until it doesn't. What follows is the part of that arrangement nobody quotes you for — not because it is hidden, but because the person quoting is not the one who ends up doing it.
Finding them
Agencies charge 15–25% of first-year salary, minimum $10,000. Then you interview.
We recruit, check and train. You are told who is coming before they hold your key.
Paying them
Payroll, employer taxes, workers' compensation, leave accrual — roughly 25% on top of wages.
One price per visit. It is the whole cost, and it does not move.
When they are ill
Nobody comes, or you find somebody at short notice who does not know your home.
Someone who has cleaned your home before still comes, so the standard is there either way.
When they leave
Another placement fee, another search, and the standard restarts from nothing.
Our problem, not yours. The written scope is what the next person is held to.
None of this is an argument that you should not employ someone. If you want a person in your house five days a week who knows your children's names, hire one. Sable is for the case where you want the result without becoming the employer.

Your cleaners read this before the first visit. It is not a form we file.
This is not a checkout.
A person reads your request, checks we reach your address, and assigns your home a team. You get their names before any of them gets your key.
We hire before we sell, so intake is capped. A team of two holds around thirty-six homes between them, and a city takes on two or three cleaners a month — which is the whole reason a familiar face is possible at all. A service that will take everyone who asks this week is telling you something about who will be standing in your kitchen next year.
If we are full in your area we will say so and tell you when we expect to reach you, rather than booking you in and sending whoever is free.
